What We Saw At Night
I wanted to give this book a four star review. I did. And a lot of me LOVED this book and I absolutely couldn't put it down. WHAT WE SAW AT NIGHT has some of the tightest characterization and setting I've seen in YA lit. But the plot fell apart about halfway, and then began to disintegrate rapidly. By the end, I still loved my characters, their relationships, the setting, and the premise. I felt like this was the wrong plot for this book. And I didn't want it to be that way. Sigh.
